Oak Forest Area Democrats is an official Harris County Democratic Party Affiliated Club serving Timbergrove, Lazybrook, Oak Forest, Garden Oaks, Candlelight, Shepard Park Plaza, and the surrounding area.   

We strive to support and promote the Democratic Party at all levels of government and continue its historic role as a party which promotes social justice, the local, state, and national interest, and the needs of all people.

We strive to keep our community informed of the activities and  messages of the Democratic Party and its principles.

We seek to promote our messaging in our communities.   

We seek to recruit leaders for the precincts in our service area and help them organize those precincts.

We seek to help keep the Democratic Party informed of issues that are important in our communities.

We seek to endorse candidates and ballot initiatives when appropriate.

We seek to encourage Democratic turnout in elections held in our communities.
