Houston, TX- Candidate Karen Derr for Houston City Council At-Large Position 1 gained the endorsements of State Senator Mario Gallegos of Senate District 6 and State Representative Senfronia Thompson of District 141

State Senator Mario Gallegos stated, “That Karen Derr is the City Council candidate to get the job done at City Hall, she genuinely cares for Houston folks!” and Representative Senfronia Thompson stated, "In this time of great turn over in Houston City Government, it is important to have the most qualified people in office and Karen Derr is that qualified person we need on Houston City Council."
